Super Negin saffron is a quality saffron you get 1 gram in a nice tin. The color of the saffron is a deep red, the strands are intact, and the flavor is quality. The saffron is sourced from Afghanistan . It has a very good shelf life. Saffron is a versitle spice, ilove adding it to rice when im cooking the rice. Great quality, for a fair price.

I have to admit that my experience with saffron has been limited to lower grade up until now. This stuff is a night-and-day difference in quality! The threads are a fantastic, bright red (not dyed!) and the scent is fantastically potent when you open the tin. It comes packaged beautifully and tastes fantastic.

This is saffron suitable for gifting. It comes in a nice box, with colored tissue paper. The saffron itself comes in a lovely little tin. I look forward to using this in a recipe.

I do wonder about air tightness on the tin an its ability to keep it fresh. But time will tell on that aspect.

This is strong and has a lovely spiced floral tang perfect for rice dishes and a beautiful paella. A little goes a long way with this as it is very fresh tasting and high quality saffron.
